Bespoke new family home, within the Kingswood conservation area and Residential Area of Special Character. The clients wanted to build their new home within the mature grounds of their existing 1909 arts and crafts property. Similar in external palette to the original house, the timber framed house allows for large internal spaces suited to contemporary living, with greatly improved thermal and acoustic performance, without having to move away from the area. A winding access drive and native hedge planting along deer park fencing separates the two properties whilst retaining the open feel of the grounds.
