A new build luxury family home, situated on a steep sloped site in a Residential Area of Special Character. Due to these constraints, the brief was to have an internally contemporary home, within an externally traditional envelope. The design takes advantage of the extreme level changes of the site, appearing as a 2-storey arts and crafts style property from the street, but a 3-storey home from the garden, with a 1st floor terrace. The house uses an air-source heat pump with underfloor heating throughout.
